Methodology
The 100% online and interactive methodology of the Language School of Universidad Isabel I is designed so that you can start speaking the language almost without noticing it.
Our materials and method will provide practice in a progressive way without too much effort, organized in didactic units that present current topics where you will find a multitude of audio-visual resources and activities that you can do as many times as you need. Mistakes are part of the learning process of a second language and, at the Language School of Universidad Isabel I, you are encouraged to learn from your mistakes.
The online design of the courses will let you study whenever you want and from anywhere. What is more, the didactic units that make up the courses are opened progressively so that you can focus on the content at a constant and manageable pace.
Courses are structured according to the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) recommendations. Each course lasts 150 hours: 6 months spread over two terms and a total of 6 ECTS.
Assessment is continuous. That is to say, at the end of the units, you will have to complete the activities for each skill in order to pass the course. This means that you will not be exposed to the pressure of a final exam to obtain your diploma issued by Universidad Isabel I.
Moreover, you will be able to practice with our live conversation sessions with native speakers. Choose the date and time that suits you best.
Throughout the course you will have the support of a qualified teacher who will answer your questions and guide you through the learning process, giving you significant feedback about your activities, and promoting meeting forums between you and other students in the Virtual Classroom and through different interaction tools. All you need to get started is an internet connection and a computer with a microphone and webcam.
